Alaska Pete’s Roadhouse Grille
151 Seven Bridge Road
Marshalls Creek, PA 18335
Alaska Pete’s Roadhouse Grille is located in the Pocono Mountains on Route 209 in Marshalls Creek, PA between the Delaware Water Gap and Bushkill Falls. The dining room is tastefully decorated with authentic antiques and boasts an oversized flagstone fireplace.
There is a lot to do in this area of the Pocono mountains all year long. In nice weather you can enjoy camping, hiking, canoe trips on the Delaware River. During winter you can ski, snow board and more. After a long day enjoying the great out doors Alaska Pete’s is the place to go for a drink (or two), a great meal, and desert. Mrs. Phantom and I have been to Alaska Pete’s several times over the past couple of years (that should be a clue about our thoughts below).
Mrs. Phantom says: If you are ever in the East Stroudsburg Area of the Pocono Mountains, you must stop for a bite to eat at Alaska Pete’s. I usually get a small salad and filet mignon for dinner. The salad is fresh and crisp. The filet mignon is cooked to perfection. I like my steaks medium well but more well than medium. I always get a nice light pink steak. Never over cooked or undercooked. The vegetables are fresh, not soggy. I usually leave the restaurant very full and no room for dessert (hard to believe lol)
From the woman’s point of view, the bathroom was very clean. Nothing to be afraid of in there lol.
I give Alaska Pete’s Roadhouse Grille two thumbs up.
Mr. Phantom says: For me, dinner starts with warm bread and butter for the table. I like to start the meal with the Caesar salad. The romaine is fresh and crisp and not over dressed. For the main entree my usual choice is the rib-eye steak. Every time I have gotten the rib-eye it was cooked perfectly. The crab cakes are my second choice. They are full of crab and very little filler or binder. All entrees include a potato of your choice and a green vegetable (varies daily). Again, everything is cooked perfectly.
They have a very well stocked bar with top shelf liquors and a very nice and affordable wine list.
The wait staff is friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable about the food offerings and local attractions.
I also give Alaska Pete’s Roadhouse Grille two thumbs up.
